About Niiomi.
Niiomi is an Amsterdam-based electronic music artist known for her rhythm-driven, genre-fluid sound.
Rooted in house and techno, her music is shaped by a broad palette of influences, weaving together percussive energy, melodic depth, and global rhythms drawn from Afro, Latin, oriental, and other musical cultures.
Focused on connection and movement, Niiomi creates sets that feel organic, alive and sometimes spiritual, immersive journeys that evolve with the dancefloor while remaining deeply grounded in groove and emotion.
"Niiomi (Naomi Lucia Bouwmeester) isn't a newcomer in the creative industry"

Born and raised in Zürich, Niiomi began as a passionate dancer, trained in Contemporary, Ballet, and Modern Jazz.
By 17, she had moved to Amsterdam by herself to pursue dance, performing for MTV, Nike, and touring across Europe. Inspired by her little brother, also a professional dancer & DJ, she discovered her calling in music, creating the unique afrohouse/afrotech sound she's now known for.
Niiomi is an internationally touring DJ rapidly establishing herself within the global electronic music landscape through high-impact performances and carefully curated lineups.

Just recently, she opened for Reznik (Keinemusik) at Kaufleuten Club in Zurich, closed Shelter Amsterdam following Andrea Oliva b2b Shimza, and completed a headline tour in India, culminating in a headline performance at the Quake Arena.
She shared stages with LP Giobbi and Monkey Safari, further reinforcing her presence across as her rise has been marked by appearances at major festivals and iconic venues, including Tomorrowland Winter 2025, her debut at DGTL Festival, and RheinRiff in Germany, where she opened for Major League DJz and Alex Wann.
She has also performed at Thuishaven Amsterdam, opening for Francis Mercier, and returned multiple times on Amémé’s “One Tribe” event Line-up.

Additional highlights include a headline set at The Penthouse at Five Palm Dubai, opening a sold-out Labyrinth London for Alex Wann, a speakeasy performance in Morocco for Caprice Festival, and multiple showcases during Amsterdam Dance Event, including an opening set for Uncle Waffles. Beyond the stage, Niiomi has been featured as a guest on "The Boom Room" on SLAM FM and multiple times on Pure Ibiza Radio Dubai, further expanding her international reach.
With an ever-growing global footprint and a sound rooted in rhythm, connection, and movement, Niiomi continues to build a compelling presence on the international circuit.
Supported by artists like Amémé, Shimza, Rampa (KeineMusik), Caiiro, and Alex Wann, Niiomi is poised to make an impact on dance floors worldwide.

Naomi is very multifaceted and doesn't like to be put in a box, she will always follow her dreams and hopes to inspire others to do the same.
